Bolgheri is a prestigious wine region located in northern Tuscany, Italy, between the Mediterranean and the hilly countryside. The region is best known for the production of red wines, often consisting of Bordeaux varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, known for their full-bodied character, complex aromas and ageability.
