Central Coast
The Central Coast wine region refers to the large, varied area of California, USA, that stretches along the Pacific coast from Santa Barbara County to San Fransisco Bay. The region is known for its diversity of microclimates, soil types and wine production from a wide range of grape varieties, for example Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Zinfandel. In addition, the Central Coast is a pioneering area for sustainable and organic wine production, as many wine producers have adopted eco-friendly practices to preserve soil health and minimize environmental impact.
