Aromas of plums, dark berries, tobacco leaf and violets introduce the 2022 Nenin, a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy wine that's enveloping and pillowy, with good depth of fruit, sweet tannin and a suave, seamless profile. This blend of 64% Merlot and 36% Cabernet Franc is one of the finest Nenins produced in recent times. Drink Date: 2027 - 2045 - William Kelley, Wine Advocate

Fresh and floral, showing lilac, mint and light stone aromas that follow through to a medium body with really fine, broad tannins that fan out on the palate. Creamy and textural with lovely fruit and purity. Extremely long and poised. First year made in a new cellar. A blend of 56% cabernet sauvignon, 35% merlot and 9% cabernet franc. Very drinkable now but needs three to four years of bottle aging to come together.

94-96. Barrel Sample. The acidity shines through the wine with its black-cherry aroma. From a single large parcel close to the Gironde estuary, the wine has an elegance that is very Saint-Julien. It is juicy, with the Cabernet Sauvignon showing well and dominating the wine.
