Château Brane-Cantenac

The property has 75 hectares, and is planted with 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 4.5% Cabernet Franc and a little Carmenère. Château Brane-Cantenac produces two wines – theirs Grand Vin the name of the castle itself, and theirs 2nd Wine named after the owner in the 19th century; Baron de Brane. The wines are stored in
respectively 18 and 12 months in oak barrels.

The wines from Château Brane-Cantenac is said to be more concentrated and heavy than others
Margaux wines, but still possess the epitome of elegance that Margaux is characterized by.
