Napa Valley

The pioneers of wine making in Napa Valley was George C. Yount, John Patchett and Charles Krug, founders of Yountville and the vineyard Charles Krug.

Napa Valley consists of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Red Bordeaux, 5% Merlot and other smaller percentages. Yet is the wine variety Zinfandel also substantial due to its unique performance and recognizability.

The region's accessibility from San Fransisco attracts over a million of wine enthusiasts each year wanting to taste and explore the wine and gastronomy of the Valley. This contributes to the global acknowledgement as a wine region with high standards, popular style and well done marketing.
