Château Cos d'Estournel
Château Cos d'Estournel is an acclaimed winery located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of Bordeaux, France. Founded in the 19th century by Louis-Gaspard d'Estournel, the winery has a rich history and is known for producing some of the area's most prestigious wines. The winery was classified as 2emé Cru Classe by Medoc & Sauternes Grand Cru Classé in Bordeaux from 1855.

The vineyards at Château Cos d'Estournel extends over about 91 hectares and is primarily
planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and smaller amounts of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Château Cos d'Estournel is known for using modern technology in combination with traditional methods in wine production. The wines from the vineyard undergoes careful selection and matures in oak casks where they develop complexity and character.
The vineyard produces one Grand Vin called "Château Cos d'Estournel", which is strong and concentrated, which must therefore be stored, and a 2nd Wine called “Les Pagodes de Cos” that is more accessible and ready to drink at a younger age.
