Château Gruaud Larose
Château Gruaud Larose is a 2eme Cru Classé estate from the classification of Bordeaux, 1855. It is considered a classic Saint-Julien wine, known for its reasonable pricing and value-for-money. A feature of the property is their tower that provides a panoramic view of the sub-region, the Médoc.

The vineyards
area of 82 hectares is dominated by the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon with 60%, Merlot
with 30%, 7% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. TheirGrand Vin"Gross
"Larose" is known as having fantastic storage capabilities and most often needs to be stored
for 10 to 15 years. Their2nd Wineis called "Sarget de Gruaud Larose" is
named after a previous owner, and has been produced since 1979.
The family
who owns the property today bought it in 1997, and also owns other properties such as
Haut-Bages Libéral in Pauillac, Chasse-Spleen in Moulis and a share of Osoyoos
Larose in Canada. Château Gruaud Larose produces an average of 150,000 per year
bottles of theirsGrand Vinand 250,000 of theirs2nd Wine, but they
has a strict restriction and only publishes approx. 55% of production to ensure
highest quality.
