Chateau Latour
Château Latour is one of the most famous and prestigious wineries in Bordeaux, France, located in the Paulliac appellation. It is one of the five classified Premier Cru of Medoc & Sauternes Grand Cru Classé from 1855.

The history of the estate dates back to the 13th century, when its tower “Tor à Saint-Lambert” was built by the Frenchman Gaucelme de Castillon, which today is a unique symbol of the vineyard. The estate is currently owned by François Pinault, one of France’s richest people. As such, it is part of the larger group “Groupe Artèmis”, which also has other vineyards in Burgundy, Champagne and Oregon.
The vineyards are mostly planted with Cabernet Sauvignon vines, and the estate is known for its meticulous winemaking process. TheirGrand Wineare named after the property, and their2nd Wineis called “Les Forts de Latour”.
