Château Lynch-Bages
Château Lynch-Bages is a renowned wine producer located in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, France. It was founded by Thomas Lynch, an Irish merchant, and has since experienced several changes of ownership. In 1939, the château was bought by Jean-Charles Cazes, and the Cazes family has since been involved in running and developing the château.

Lynch-Bages is known for producing quality red wines, primarily based on
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The vineyards are
situated on precious gravel soils characteristic of Pauillac, and this
contributes to the complexity and structure of the wine. The property is classified as
a fifth cru in Bordeaux's official classification of 1855, and in addition is
it also known for its impressive architecture and charming castle that is open
for visitors.
