Chianti

Chianti is a large wine region in Tuscany, covering a considerable area between Florence and Siena, and is divided into several different sub-regions. Chianti wines are typically based on the Sangiovese grape, but other grapes such as Canaiolo, Colorino and Merlot can also be included in the blends. These wines are known for being fruity, juicy and having moderate tannins.
