Points, passion and precision
Brilliant, rich ruby with garnet rim. Finely marked nose with notes of pickled cherries and plums, incense and sandalwood in the background. Gripping, very dense tannin, builds up in many layers, savoury, ripe fruit, a little ponderous and broad on the finish, but firm drive.
Really pretty, sweet berries, cherries and fresh flowers on the nose. Orange peel, too. It's medium-to full-bodied with very fine tannins that are polished and attractive and melt into the wine. Such purity and finesse. Drink or hold.
