Odderos Barolo Villero 2019 kommer fra en af Castiglione Fallettos mest prestigefulde cru‑marker og viser Nebbiolo i sin mest klassiske, elegante og dybt strukturerede form. Villero regnes som en af områdets absolutte topmarker, og Oddero er et af de mest traditionsrige huse i Barolo med historiske rødder tilbage til 1700‑tallet.

Vinen har den karakteristiske garnetrøde farve og byder på violet, rosenblade, kirsebær, krydrede nuancer og mineralsk dybde, efterfulgt af faste, fintmaskede tanniner og en vedvarende, klassisk Barolo‑finish. Brugeranmeldelser fremhæver markante noter af jord, læder, tjære, røde frugter, lakrids og tobak, som er typiske for stor Nebbiolo fra topmarker.

With fruit from Castiglione Falletto, the 2019 Barolo Villero is graceful and light with a beautifully silky approach to the palate. It is pleasing to the eye, thanks to the shiny ruby color that is characteristic of this vintage, and to the nose, thanks to a graceful bouquet with redcurrant, spice and blue flower. It shows similar traits to the mouth, thanks to a very sharp or linear element. Oddero's Villero knocks it out of the park across this portfolio of new releases.
