Château Rauzan-Segla

Rauzan-Segla's history stretches back to the year 1661, but in the year 1855
under the Bordeaux classification of Sauternes and Barsac, the property was ranked
as Second Grand Cru Classé. Since then the property was acquired by the French
fashion house Chanel in 1994, around which a series of successful wines were created
produced by Château Rauzan-Segla, which really put the castle at the forefront of
The 2eme Cru Classé properties. The property currently extends over 45 hectares
vineyards, the grapes consist of 63% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 2% Cabernet
Franc.

The property
produces aGrand Winenamed after the castle, and a2nd Winecalled
“Segla”, both of which are recognized for being full-bodied and concentrated.
