Bouchard Père & Fils Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2019 (150 cl) is a large and precise white Burgundy from one of the region's most iconic Grand Cru vineyards. The wine showcases Corton-Charlemagne's characteristic combination of power, finesse and pronounced minerality.

The nose offers ripe citrus fruits, white flowers and stone fruit, supported by subtle notes of roasted nuts and a touch of oak. The palate is concentrated and structured with lively acidity, depth and a long, mineral finish, testifying to the wine's great aging potential.

The 2019 vintage delivers both maturity and balance, and in magnum format the wine develops more slowly and even more harmoniously over time. A wine created for special moments – and for the cellar.

This has quite pronounced vanilla oak, but has only just been bottled. As it aerates, notes of ripe pear, citrus and pineapple develop. Rich and creamy, this makes a bold statement, but also has lovely freshness that complements the generous body. Keeps pumping out the flavors for a long time at the finish. Drink or hold.

Greengage, a hint of lemon, cream and fresh, cold, salted butter meet on the nose. More air brings more citrus but also wet limestone. It is that cool, cool stoniness that dominates on the palate, imbued with gentle, nutty smokiness. This is concentrated, majestic, serene and has a touch of eternity.
