Low stock

This wine is made from 75% in the main part of Caillerets and 25% in Les Combards, not yet assembled but blended in the glass for me. A light yellow colour with huge energy on the nose, a wine which is resisting the blandishments of the sun. This will need extra time in barrel according to Caroline. Notwithstanding their Bâtard-Montrachet, this is often the great wine in the Jean-Noël Gagnard cellar. There is a touch of youthful bitterness at the finish but will be spectacular. Tasted Dec 2019.

Jasper Morris - Inside Burgundy

Chardonnay
