Oddero's Barolo Villero 2019 comes from one of Castiglione Falletto's most prestigious crus and showcases Nebbiolo in its most classic, elegant and deeply structured form. Villero is considered one of the area's absolute top vineyards, and Oddero is one of the most traditional houses in Barolo with historical roots dating back to the 18th century.

The wine has a characteristic garnet red color and offers violet, rose petal, cherry, spicy nuances and mineral depth, followed by firm, finely meshed tannins and a persistent, classic Barolo finish. User reviews highlight distinctive notes of earth, leather, tar, red fruits, licorice and tobacco, typical of great Nebbiolo from top vineyards.

With fruit from Castiglione Falletto, the 2019 Barolo Villero is graceful and light with a beautifully silky approach to the palate. It is pleasing to the eye, thanks to the shiny ruby color that is characteristic of this vintage, and to the nose, thanks to a graceful bouquet with redcurrant, spice and blue flower. It shows similar traits to the mouth, thanks to a very sharp or linear element. Oddero's Villero knocks it out of the park across this portfolio of new releases.
