Château Lascombes 2ème Cru Classé 2020 is an exclusive red wine from Margaux, Bordeaux, with impressive depth, ripe fruit, and a silky, polished style. This vintage is powerful and harmonious, boasting both elegance and excellent aging potential.

The aroma offers blackcurrant, dark cherry, plum, and blackberry, complemented by floral notes, cedar, coffee, chocolate, liquorice, and subtle spices. The palate is full-bodied and concentrated with soft tannins, fresh acidity, and layers of dark fruit, toast, minerality, and vanilla in a long, refined finish.

A little more closed down at this point than the 2019, a vintage to put aside and forget about for a good four or five years. There are hints of what will happen when it opens though, as you’ll find ripples in here of cassis, blueberry and bilberry fruits, with liquorice and cloves, delicious curls of woodsmoke and smoked earth. 60% new oak, 40hl/h yield, harvest September 10 to October 2, 120ha, 35 days maceration.
