Château L’Evangile 2023 showcases Pomerol at its most elegant and structured. A refined, structured, and deeply aromatic Pomerol that combines freshness, finesse, and aging potential – a strong buy in the top segment. The vintage is crafted from 78% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon.

The nose is complex with dark berries, violets, licorice, spices, graphite, and a hint of smoke, while the palate offers dark cherry, plum, cocoa, dried flowers, tobacco, and mocha, enveloped in silky-fine, well-integrated tannins.

The texture is medium to full-bodied, with a layered, deep, and harmonious expression, culminating in a long, vibrant, and mineral finish with black pepper and elegant freshness.

The wine is harvested between September 4 and 28 and aged in 50% new barrels, complemented by amphora and large foudres, which strikes a balance between fruit purity and a discreet, refined oak note.
