Château d'Yquem
Château d'Yquem is a famous wine producer located in the Bordeaux region of France. It is particularly known for its Sauternes wine, considered one of the world's finest dessert wines. The producer can be traced back to the 17th century, when the Lur-Saluces family played a decisive role in establishing it as a prestigious wine producer. In 1999, the Lur-Saluces family sold Château d'Yquem to the French luxury giant LVMH (Louis Vuitton Möet Hennessy), emphasising the estate's status as a luxury producer.
