Clos La Gaffelière 2020 is an elegant and charming red wine from Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux, with juicy fruit, a silky-smooth structure, and an approachable, refined expression. This vintage is harmonious and fresh with excellent balance and immediate appeal.

The aroma offers dark berries, plum, and cherry, complemented by chocolate, cedar, liquorice, crushed nuts, and a subtle mineral hint. The taste is medium-bodied with fine, velvety tannins, vibrant fruit, and a polished finish with notes of dark berries, spice, and crushed stone.

The wine pairs excellently with beef, veal, lamb, duck, poultry, as well as grilled and oven-roasted dishes – an obvious choice for fine dinners and special occasions.

This is dark fruited with chocolate, crushed walnuts, black licorice and cedar wood. Medium-bodied with firm, chewy tannins. Tight and toned with a polished finish and notes of crushed stones and nut shell at the end. 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc. Excellent for a second wine. Try after 2025.
